This is beautiful -- what is it exactly?
that's one sexy representation of greyhound!!
Something to think about for tonight...what positioning segment is Emblem in and what assets are they trying to leverage? We'll do that for Pfizer tonight!
Interesting what thinking about consumer-facing touch points can do for a brand. I wonder what other coal mining companies site's look like.
City MD is a fascinating business and brand. Gaining trust as a new brand in emergency healthcare seems like it would be extremely challenging, but City MD appears to be pulling it off.
Wow! What an incredibly helpful app! Something like this would be fantastic in LA!
It's a personal goal to ride one within the next year or so!
It is my transportation every day. But we need more culture to respect the riders.
love this brand! Some day will have one.
Yes it is a good platform to advertise. And they do have it on them. But not on all I guess. I have seen broadway shows, few brands and touristy advertisements on them:) Also, many channels use it to promote their upcoming shows.
If you ever travel by the NJ transit even they have it on them. In fact they always full of advertisements. :)
I recently purchased Sudafed and it was super difficult to navigate which type to buy - there is so much text here! Wish they would adopt a similar design strategy to Help Remedies (http://www.helpineedhelp.com/)
It is amazing how we don't even notice ConEd until we acknowledge them. And now they are everywhere.
Now I have your credit card... JK
I could tell this was for children the instant I saw the thumbnail of this products packaging.
Love the Citi Bikes! NYC needs better traffic regulations for bikes!
I've seen these around the subway and didn't think they were very effective or creative. Seemed like a easy take and didn't really show the speed or sound or brand very well. There was an Audi TV ad years ago just playing the sound of car doors closing and theirs sounded the best, I was really impressed then. Porsche could do better!
I loved the mast brother packaging when it first came out and it seemed to set a bit of a trend in artisanal chocolate packaging and I saw a lot of mimicking around the traps, did you notice that too?
I wonder if this is Citibank's attempt to lighten their tone to compete with younger, more hip competitors like Simple.
More cars becoming electric again means more competition for Tesla. Start thinking about what makes them different in this category!
I always love to hear what people find most valuable to stock up while visiting the US or NYC! This one is new to me. I didn't even know GNC was international.
I don't feel think about nyc's yellow cabs as a brand much, but they are, and with Uber lowering prices, they'll have to find ways to compete!
Interesting to see the difference in the way this energy brand speaks compared to Con Ed. Con Ed's subway ads are so much more serious in tone.
The most famous transportation tool of NYC --Yellow cab! They are really an icon!
Hope it can be real one day. It seems to be so cool and cute.
I want to try it!!! Seems cool!
I love how many transportation options we have in NYC...especially Citibike!
Great idea to pose a question to the consumer that they in turn internally answer, and most likely causes them to make purchasing decisions based on that. If they do new fall clothes, they know JCrew can help them!
So playful! it almost looks like the avocado is interacting/reacting to us.
For me what works is 1) the setup of fresh, rich fruits and vegetables kept outside the store and the apple & the blue color in the logo. 2) the whole space is very compact and well-structured with abundance of fresh, healthy foodstuffs throughout the store being true to its name. I din't think of the warm lighting at first but now recalling the experience, yes! definitely! it adds up to the wholesome, warm feeling the entire space resonates. :)
I must say, I feel so attracted to this brand, i love the concept, the thought behind it and the way they take advantage in every communication piece to say something about their personality. But, that being said, as a designer, even though I feel attracted to the overall brand, I feel the logo and some of the pieces are missing good design. That typography bothers me a little, it could be so much better and still keeping their personality. I'd like to hear what other designers have to say about it.
like that it is classic, as the caption says, but at the same time it has a twist since it's playing with the negative and the positive.
This simple logo is so well defined, it says so much about the brand. It represents what high-couture is in every sense.
I love IKEA instructions too! And the fact that you can get the instruction booklets online if you accidentally throw one away :)
Its the complete package. High quality canvas and leather, great construction, simple design. Its my go-to overnight bag that I'm proud to carry and I know the zipper is never going to fail me.
This logo of LP makes me wanna start to travel right now:-) It really has its deep meaning in many travelers' conception as an icon.
Baked by Melissa brings in the minimalist attitude of the products into all the communications. So right from walking into the store to biting into a cupcake, it is a consistent experience. Also with the infusion of colour in the designs, the brand packs in a punch in every small bite.
Ikea does such a great job at communicating its character with every brand touch point!
Is it the material used, the feel of the bag, the look that say quality?
Remember to find 3 different touch points, and don't forget to put one character word that the touch point communicates to you about the brand! You can refer to the book (Building Better Brands) as well for info on brand character words.
Remember to put a character word that your chosen touch points communicate!
Hey Kim! Great job getting all 3 posts up. I agree with all of your character words for each touchpoint. It's interesting to think about the combination of character words you chose. Is the combination effective or distinct?
Wholesome is a good character word. Just wondering what about this communicates wholesome to you? The typography? The warm lighting in the store? The logo with the apple?
Horrible, ugly sign program. This brand should be red, WHITE, and blue.
Kitchen & Juice? What does that mean?
